Default TR7IX wont fit??

well at this point i am feeling really stupid. i have an ls7 427 with trickflow 235 , ported fast 90, etc. i know people run the tr7ix but the tip and groundstrap are too long. they are hitting my pistons. i got part numer ngk 3690, did i get the wrong part number??
help!!!

I know the TFS heads have revised spark plug locations. Maybe this is your issue? Are you running a dome piston or a flat top?

no, im running flat top pistons( JE) -5cc. i have not posted in Gen IV cause i always get better assistance in the drag racing section with all of my questions. I think you may have a point with the new sparkplug location in the TFS heads. I guess i will just have to stick with the old copper BR7EF plugs

The TR7IX plugs are projected tip... The BR7EF's aren't.. Could be part of your problem...

Odd. NGks are usually the easiest plug to thread in. If they are tight, you should see how bad an autolite is. Worst yet, be terrified of a champion. Just my experience.
