MPH so low????

MPH so low???? My last time at the track I ran a 12.6 @ 105MPH with the lid, converter, nittos, and the SLP LM. My cousin ran it at the track with just the lid and exhaust and tires at a 12.8 @ 109 MPH. So what made me MPH so slow? The weather conditions were very similar. thanx.

I would guess that the MPH loss is due to the inefficiency of the Vig converters. Personally i have no experience with them, but i have heard from many people that they aren't exactly efficient converters. That's my guess at least.
The vig3200 is fairly efficient @ 94%.. PIs bigger converters are more inefficient..

I have the same problem!! I ran 107 and 108 all the time with the stock converter and then I put the transmission and converter in and I dropped to 104's and 105's in similiar air. But I did get a 106.8 last time at the track with some really nice weather.
