Weight saving switching to manual seat?
Weight saving switching to manual seat? I can get a matching leather passenger seat with manual adjuster. Can I swap this for my drivers power seat for a small weight reduction?
Or is it worth pulling the electric motor etc out of my power seat ? Any idea how much it weighs?

So a manual passenger seat will fit to a manual drivers side seat tracks?
Or can I just pull the motor off my driverside seat for a weight saving, and if so is it as much weight off as a manual slider?

The difference from the passenger to driver seat in my Trans Am seemed to be around 10lbs.
That's the fully optioned leather ones though.
Driver being electric and passenger being manual.
Just going aftermarket on both would be more worth it to me, if you got the cash.
