I had pictures of mine up before it was painted but they got deleted. It looks identical to the vfn.

It was terrible. We had to trim about 2.5 inches off one side and 1 inch off the other. Also had to trim off the front and around the headlights. The hood was good and straight tho and I think its a little heavier than the vfn. RPM has a vfn on their car and it seems to be a little lighter than mine.

I called glasstek today and they said their extended hood was a flat hood for their extended front end.

Correct. You have to ask for a sunoco extended style. they should know what you are talking about.

Hmmmm, I don't like the thought of having to work on it very much to make it fit good.

I thought it was 6" tall? Isn't the VFN only about 4 1/2"????

Do you work for them? Have you ordered one? Have you seen them make one?

Whats funny is I did call them. I talked to them and he knew what hood I wanted and told me that VFN is the only one making a sunoco style extended hood that goes to the windshield. He also told me the extended hood advertised on their site is a flat hood for their extended front end.

I do not work for them or have one. Smith just ordered one from them prolly 2 months ago. He told me, he asked for a sunoco style and they said they had one in stock and sent it out to him. He even posted pictures. So idk what to tell you, maybe he will chime in.
