Getting ready for weld in 8 point. Anything to know about? Got a local race team fabricator going to help me out any tips or advice or are these things pretty straight forward??
If your car is not mini-tubbed but you've thought about mini-tubbing it, do it before the rollcage. It'll make your life easier to install the tubs lol...
I made the mistake of installing the cage first, and now I want to do the tubs but it's going to be kind of a bitch working around the cage.
Other than that, the install of the cage is fairly straight forward. Just make sure you have an NHRA rule book handy so that you can set the bars per their rules.

if you plan on removing the brackets for the rear seats and the sheet metal gusset deals that are below the speakers in the sail panel (dont know how else to describe them). do that first. that was my biggest mistake, waiting till after my cage was in. there is a **** ton of spot welds to drill. and its a bitch working around the main hoop of the cage.
