28x12.5x15 MT ET Streets with M6?
I found a good deal locally on a new set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets, size 28x12.5x15. I was going to run the 28x10.5x15S stiff sidewall ET Drags, but this deal is tempting. Will there be a major difference between the two? Will be using them on the '97 WS6 in my sig. Looking to hear from people with experience. I've already heard the hearsay
edit: I am running a LPE two step. Haven't been to the track yet since I put this setup in this car but I will start with the two step at 4500 and go up as high as the car and my traction will let me. Running 15x10 Draglites in the back.

Whats the deal? I ran ET streets and was pullin 1.60s with bolt ons and spray through the 6 speed, suspension wouldnt allow anything quicker. If you can pick them up cheap, do it, they work great, but if your only saving less then 100, hold out and get the ET drags...from what ive read they are the best for a 6 speed

$500 for brand new 15x10 Draglites, Brand new MT tubes, and the brand new tires all mounted and balanced and ready to go. I would be selling the wheels and keeping the tires and tubes so I would probably be in for $300 for tires and tubes.
I have already gone 1.64 on 275/50-15 (26") ET Street radials with cords showing when this setup was in my 01 WS6. That was with 3.73 gears and it was the only time I ever raced that setup or those tires.
I now have 4.10 gears and the '97 is probably 100lbs lighter. I want to be well into the 1.5s. Just wondering if these ET Streets are that far off from the ET Drag, because I can save about $215 here.
Keep in mind these are ET Streets I am looking at, not ET Street Radials.

I know there was alot left 60ft wise with my ET streets. Unfortunately when i got to use ET Drags i went to a TH400 so i dont have a good comparison between the 2. If you have suspension 1.50s should be easy with the ET Streets, shocks at least

I say get some shocks! Thats what I need to help transfer weight. Mine doesnt do it for ****, Im still working on getting mine down. With the ET Street, those should make the stockers work!! If you can get a good deal, why not man! Only thing I would be worried about is rubbing with the 12.5in tire. How do you like that Two Step? Im getting on put on this week I think!
