Default Which seats?

I am having LSmonster(clay forrester of forrester racing engines) build my 10 point cage with wolfe through the floor subframe connectors. Trying for mid to high 8's with this car. Pretty much decided that racing seats of some sort are a must for this car. What would be a fairly comfortable racing seat? I have looked at corbeaus and they seem to be very nice but have never actually sat in one. The best case would probably be to find a local shop who carries a few different makes and models. Any input is greatly appreciated. BTW clay knows his stuff. Very impressed so far. Pics should be up soon.

Corbeau's are heavy. I am running JAZ aluminum seats in mine and they are pretty comfortable for what they are...

Yeah Im thinking about kirkey as well. From what I have gathered you have to be willing to give up some comfort when cars are this fast. I know the last thing I want to be doing is flying around inside my cage like a rage doll because I got some cushy seats!

Kirkey pro streets. They are very comfortable with the covers and added lumbar.

.

If you think you have a chance of running 8's you want a safe seat, comfort means nothing.
You want the proper fit to keep your butt where it belongs.
I've had plastic, alum & custom fit seats, and there is a huge difference.
You do not need to be swimming in a huge seat if you ever have an issue.

A nice alum seat with a cover doesn't look too bad, and it can be ordered to fit.
Good luck.

I hear ya trust me. Currently looking at Sparco race seats. Used quite heavily in F1, rally etc. The only catch is if I fit in the car with the seat installed. Im 6'3 230 and don't want my head sticking out beyond the rollcage. They are side mount seats, so I am hoping this will give some extra clearance.
