Default Launch Control unit

Ive got an 08 LS3 and I'm very interested in an aftermarket launch control unit for drag racing. I had one in my STi a while back and loved it since I was able to floor the gas at a stand still and have the rpm's bounce off whatever It's set to, This made my runs very consistent since I was able to concentrate on releasing the clutch more than feeding gas. I'm clueless on who makes them for LS3's and hope someone can help me out with a link or a manufactures name who makes them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Below is a link on an LS3 equipped with one,

MSD 6AL-2...built in 2-step limiter. Also various other companies make them for LS setups, someone will chime in soon.

Thanks for the feedback, Do you know if the one you listed is good to use on the LS3?

Do some research to see if they have a plug and play harness for the LS3 like they do for the LT1. Calling MSD would be your best bet. It's a very nice unit, I'm using it on my racecar as are countless others on here.

Lingenfelter made a plug and play one, but you have to delete the cats, or you'll blow them out quickly (unburnt fuel into the cyl's will kill a cat. converter fast!!)

The MSD one works good too, I don't know if it's plug and play or not, but I know the lingenfelter one is.

Thanks for the info and fast responses! Luckily for me I like noise, and chose to go catless when I did my exhaust. I'll have to call MSD and see if their unit is a plug and play, and if it's compatible with my car. If not I'll check out lingenfelters website or give them a call!

Thanks again guys = D
