Their steering shaft will not clear Kooks headers. You will need to fabricate the shaft with another joint for it to work.
If the headers fit with the stock column then ours will work and clear without having to fabricate anything.

You should be more clear on what you mean.

I've got a the manual rack and steering shaft from RaceCraft, it does not clear.

Are you saying you manufacture a totally different setup that will clear?

DMH can make you a different column if you know what the dimensions are that you need... if you can tell him 100%, it can be done.

His column will work anywhere a factory one will, I have one in my hands, and I can tel you it's perfect.

I also had the same problem with my burkhart setup, it wouldn't clear around the headers. What I did, was I contacted Chuck, he sent me all the parts to make a column loose, I then mocked it up, trimming the tubing little by little to get it where it needed to be, I ended up essentially making an extension, so that the first U joint was down about an inch to an inch and a half (I don't have the exact # in front of me) and then put teh first U joint, then ran teh long piece of tubing to the 2nd to attach to the rack.

This gets the steering shaft out more, and away from pirmary #1.

Honestly, primary #1 could have been bent to go more towards the block, then a slight bend towards the back more, and the steering shaft clearance would have been dramaticially increased.... I don't know why this wasn't done. It's a simple change, what it will take to make that happen, I have no idea. I didn't want to refab the header either, once you take that route, now you have to redo every header yuo try to put in the car, which is not cool IMO.
