Default Kill Switch question

Im trying to relocate my battery right now and ill the write ups ive seen or wiring diagrams ive seen have had 3 posts on the switch and mine only has two. Is that going to make a difference? Can i run the lead from the alternator to the battery and switch to the battery?

anyone got a writeup?

from the alt you go to the "off" side of the switch or the batery itself then everything else that needs power comes of the "on" side of the switch.

Your gonna want to run your Batt cable and alt cable to one post on the switch. On the other post run the cable to your starter, then another cable off your starter post to your positive junction box/post. Also a 200amp fuse on the alternator cable as close to the alternator as possible is a good idea. This way the car will shut down when you hit the switch. Hope this all makes sense.
