Default VHT or track prep for street racing ?

Who has results on the street with this type of stuff, i have a grudge race comming up i REALLY want to win and its hard to leave with an ss4000 adn 3.73s on the street even with mickeys....what is the best way to use this stuff, i kind of need to keep it a secret so i could always keep it in water bottles and just say its water im dumping in front of my tires .

In order to make it work correctly on the street you need to mix it in a garden sprayer and light it. .

that is not true
you only do that when you have cold temps out side if you let the vht sit for a few mn when it is hot out it will get sticky

I've left off a tranbrake and a 400 shot on the street pulling the wheels about 4 feet in my old Windsor mustang. So I know it will work better lighting it

Was also going to suggest Pimp Juice for the street.

I really like VP's track prep as well.

I usually mix denatured alcohol and trackbite in a 70% alcohol and 30% trackbite when it is cold out or mix it 50/50 when its warm out. Pour it in front of the rear tires and do a SLOW burnout in it to coat the tires and count to ten and then release the brakes and burnout forward about 15 feet. You don't want to go too far beacuse the tires will get all full of rocks and dirt. Back up in the tracks you just made but don't back up all the way into the puddle you just poured other wise you will spin when you launch. I have hit a 175 shot out the hole on prettymuch a stock-suspension h/c/i fbody using this method. The reason why I don't light it like eveybody else says is that first, the alcohol help it to dry out second, cops can see a fire in the middle of the street from over a mile away so then they come running and you're busted.

I made a recent post about PIMP juice, do a search either in Drag Race or here but the pic of a M/T DR and the STICK it has was insane.

heres a video from 2 years ago, when some friends and myself hosted basically a legal street racing event in our city... we basically used a private road at the owners permission to do a "video shoot"

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/5...d-1_646899.htm

anyways i just used straight VHT in a garden sprayer and lightly misted it down... i found it tacked up alot better when you let the alcohol in the VHT evaporate on its own, rather then lighting it on fire... of course if you're in a hurry and its night time, it might take a bit longer so lighting on fire might be your only option.... the trick is to lay out some rubber into the VHT with a john force burnout... then just reverse back into your tracks and launch in those...
