Question Mating LS1 to Powerglide

Is there an adapter required when mating an LS1 engine to a Powerglide transmission.

nope, bolts right up. you can either use a special built converter for an ls1 or you can use a std chevy converter if you use the ati flexplate.

Correct me if i'm wrong, i believe there is one bolt hole that is not threaded in the block. Dont see why you could'nt drill and tap though.

so nothing is needed to do a powerglide swap like a th400 or th350 uses?

th350 and th400 is a direct bolt on as well.
