and I have definitely tried searching. Regarding belt routing when using electric water pumps. . . specifically the Meiziere WP119r. . . I've still got power steering, alternator and crank shaft pulley to contend with. All have the grooves for the inside of the belt. I've also go an alternator relocation bracket at my disposal, so whats the best routing plan here? Pics make it easy

D

I have that exact waterpump but I also deleted PS. With that pump its impossible to route the belt in the stock location because you get rid of the tensioner too. I would reccomend either getting the other waterpump meizure offers with the tensioner bolt holes and "dead pulley" so you can route the belt in the stock location and you can run a thermostat.

Alright, I trial fitted it and if my crank pulley and p/s pulley were about 1/2 to 3/4 inches smaller each, I could fit it. I know 'underdrive' cranks are larger, but are there smaller crank pulleys for the Camaro? What pulley does GM make thats smaller I could swap onto my p/s?

You might be able to get a pulley made for the p/s that's small enough to make it work, but then you'll negate any gain from teh 25% underdrive pulley you'd have to have on the crank to get it to clear. If you run a BMR alt bracket, you can tension the belt with that so the tensioner isn't needed anymore, that will work that part out.

Ditching the PS, and getting the BMR alt. bracket, would be the easiest way to deal with the issue... been there did it already, and I have that exact same pump for sale.

Alright... I've got a manual rack now... already have the BMR Alt bracket... got a new pump motor-to-pump body gasket (cheap insurance) and have to ask... is that bottom passenger side bolt a bitch or what???
