Default motor plate with PS

has anyone done this, or think it possible? I have to look at it more but thinking you could mill 1/4 (whatever plate thickness) the alum PS bracket that bolts to the head. Or more then likely don't even mess with that and mount the PS pump right to the plate.

What motor plates are you using? Looking at the madman plates it seems to me that you would need to worry about the alternator, not the power steering.

Personally I would cut and gring where I would need it to fit. So you will be playing with Fitment but otherwise I would not suspect it being an issue.

The alt is not a problem.

this is the comp eng. plate. Lots of room to cut.

that looks like the PS would go right over. Might have a grind a little but nothing major. BUT that style would not work well with a truck manifold turrbo setup. that might happen down the road if get bored and what to make some power.

You can grind, cut and drill the motor plates to fit whatever you want on them. We've cut 5" holes in our plates to run turbo piping through.
