Texas mile
I have been wanting to do the Texas mile for a long time now. I dont know if it is a good idea any more due to me having 4.10 rearend.
Its a 2000 Z28 m6. With hooker long tubes, ORY dumped, 85 maf and tb, aluminium weiand intake 4.10 in the rearend, free mods, 150 shot of n02, tons of suspension upgrades, tuned with HPtuners. rev limiter is at 6900rpm, no speed limiter, built t56 from six speed inc. i know i have more done just cant rember. It runs mid 11.s
How do you think it will do in the Texas mile? i know the car would do over 170 b4 i installd the 4.10s. Now i have no clue. At 60mph it used to run at 1200 rpm now at 60mph it runs at 1500rpm. not a big jump.

It should do fine at the Mile. You'll only want to spray the last quarter of the run, maybe half. The N2O will help you pull in the over drives. You'll be amazed at how slow the car accelerates from the 3/4 to the end of the mile.

If it was my personal car and I was making the trip I would run c16, run it a little rich and spray it the last 1/2 mile, check the plugs. If it all comes back looking good spray it the last 3/4 mile, etc. The stock bottom end is not going to be happy and bring a trailor. Now if you are just going for the experiance leave it alone and spray the last 1/4 mile.
