Default Front drag wheel BS question

What is the most backspacing you can run on a stock 4th gen F body? I can pick up a set of draglite front runners for a decent price but they're off of a 1st gen camaro. He's unsure of the back spacing, and wasnt around to measure them.

I did some research and it looks like most 1st gens cleared good with around 2-2 1/4"

Or does anyone have a set of front draglites for cheap lol

Thanks
Austin

you dont have many options. with a 3.5" wide wheel most have only 1.75" backspace. you get into a more expensive wheel and you can get a 2.25" bs.

Worst case scenerio is the tires even with shims and longer studs could stick out chico style. I think my Convo pros are 1.75" but not around to measure them.

Let us know how it works out.

He said they're 3 1/2 or 4" wide wheels. Looked like you could get the draglites in either or.
Just worried they wouldn't clear or id look like a lowrider rollin up the staging lanes.

Thanks Guys.

Phil I wish I could picked those up from you!
