Default Need some advice with VHT

I want to test out some vht on the street this year, and was wondering what some tips and tricks would be from some that have had experience with it. I have heard to cut it down with alchohol, and I have also heard to use it in a sprayer, and then once put down to light it on fire with a torch. Any help would be appreciated. And on a highway with traffic and weather, how long can I expect a good prepped pad to last?

Best I heard to do was put some in front of the tires do your burnout and roll through it. Then back up on your marks....

Cut it down with alcohol so that it will spray in a pump sprayer without cloging up the tip.Spray it down nice and heavy for a length of 10ft for each tire.Let it dry for 10-12 min.Do 3-4 burnouts in it too work it in after it has dried. It will get tacky after a coulple of trys.Respray as needed after 7-8 launches. Works best on concrete.

I thin it with alcohol and spray it in a weed sprayer, I have also seen guys put nozzles in there wheel wells and run it from a windshield washer pump so you are actually applying it directly to the tire after your burn out, then use the sprayer to spray your launch area... This works good enough to yank the tires on a 8" DR on asphault...
