Default subframe connectors needed after a 6pt?

Would subframe connectors still be recommended after a 6pt rollbar? or will the bar stiffen up the chassis enough to make it where they're not necessary?

I don't want to add more weight then needed, but I do want to have the parts the are needed to make the chassis consistant.

Thanks
Austin

Being as though the floorplates for the B-hoop (on most of the cages I've seen) are positioned directly above where the SFCs run, it's a good idea for safety's sake in my opinion.

I dont have any and dont plan on it, I put my 6point in some well fit plates/semi boxed and plug welded them to good spots under the car.

I think u need them IMO. If you ran a sill bar I suppose u could get away with it but I like the idea of the bar being "boxed" at the base of the car.

What you gain in weight I think you gain in chassis stiffness which is usefull when tuning the chassis and getting the car to leave straight and clean.

The only time I would say it's not needed, is on a 25.x certed chassis... in that case you have so much boxing and thru the floor structure going on it's not even funny.

Put them in... the 15 to 20 lbs is not going to kill the performance of the car.
