Car keeps getting slower...What should it run?
Hey guys I have a question for y'all. My car has a few things done to it and it doesn't seem to be clicking off the 1/8 mile time it should be. I have a 2000 WS6 fast 90/90 combo, slp maf, LT's, GMMG exhaust, volant intake, 3.73 gears, underdrive pullies, NT05 drs, full suspension, 88,000miles
What should this car run in the 1/8th?
Before the car ran 8.2 w/ 2.00 60'fts, even hit 1.98 couple of times, but the tune was laying over on the topside from 80~130. and he told me that the tune had the knock sensors turned down like 50% and timimg was bumped up and fuel was added
My tuner told me that he meant to put the 02 operating system in it cause it adjust to the changes better?
That was completed and I went to the track and ran a 8.6.
retuned again and ran 8.8. Not too happy right now...
What should cars with these same mods run?

8.2 would of been my guess for it with that 60ft, were missing too much info. what DA were you running in each run. that alone can kill .5 if its a big difference. if your still running the stock converter..that aint helping either. I really doubt the fast 90/90 set up is helping much either with the stock heads and cam.

We would need to look at what it was when you ran the 8.2. But if its been this season, then it should be similar. I talked to greg a lil about it, best thing to do is data log the car and see whats going on. you would really have to jack the tune up to drop that much, and the car would run like complete ***. Last year the lil bit of track time we got with my car showed some crazy flaws. Mine was running 7.9s and we couldnt figure out why and the HP tuners was acting up. well turns out my IAT was at 145 in 70degree ambiant temps, he was able to get it down to 7.6s. Greg came up to my house a few weeks later to upload a nitrous tune and try a run. well we discovered my car was over heating...245 while the gauge said 210. took it back to the track and with timing pulled it went 7.51. youll be amazed how some things can really kill the car. But id say just get with greg and see whats going on.
