cruise control delete?

cruise control delete?

What do I need to get/do to delete my cruise control on my 98 ss, tryin to clean up the engine bay a bit. Thanks guys.

Other then completely removing it, you can relocate it to under the computer. All you'll see is the cable at that point. Just another option for ya

just buy a non cruise control throttle cable

I know there are two cables coming from the firewall to the boxe behind the battery then on comes off and goes to the throttle body. I wanna get rid of the box. My cruise control doesn't work so I wanna get rid of it and I have 490 to the wheels so tcs is pointless to lol

I am going to take my cruise and traction control as well. Thats exactly what I am going to do, is just get a non cruise/non asr throttle cable. However, I am a little worried that if I yank that stuff out that it will throw some codes and my traction control light.
