Unable to launch 6 speed....suggestions!?
2002 Z06 Corvette - Mcloed RXT Clutch, Level 5 RPM transmission, Pfadt Coilovers, Pfadt Rear Sway Bar, Pfadt Polyurethane Bushings, Headers, CAI, Tune, MGW shifter 386RWHP
So above is the mods I have also I have a set of NT05 nittos on the back. I went to the track last week and was unable to find the a spot the car liked. I was first bogging down of dumping the clutch around 2500 then I pressed the gas quicker and started spinning. I am going to try a 3k to 4k launch and slipping the clutch in order to get traction and a decent 60ft. I am not sure if I should just dump the clutch or continue to slip it as well. Any suggestions would be helpful... thank you
FYI - my best 60 of the day was a 2.08 which is terrible!!!!

Not sure what tire you can run considering its a Z06 and your on such a large rim. IF you can get a smaller, dedicated track rim. Swap over to a Bias Ply, thats going to help a ton!
Another thing you should research is a 2-step. Having more control is going to help, especially on IRS cars. I never suggest slipping the clutch either so hopefully that puts you in a good direction.
