Thumbs up This weekends race results

Saturday, Myself, my buddy Chuck Tally and 10 other hard core bracket racers rented Lone Star Raceway Park for a great day of testing. What a great thing to do. All of us are serious bracket racers so we were testing our skills on the lights and trying to get our Hot Rod consistant every time down the track.

Now my results

Nice day at the track. After the 7th run I put the Hot Rod on the trailer and watched the rest of the guys run. No need to beat on the Hot Rod anymore.

Sunday, My Dad, Chuck and I went to TAD for their 1st bracket race of the year.

It was a ok race for me but great for my Dad and Chuck. My Dad went to his 1st final in 28 years. He ran in the street class and red lighted away the win in the final but who cares. It was great to see my Dad race again. The Chuckster did great also. he went to the Final in Quick 8 and the semi finals in Top ET.

Now for my day,

I knew in the lanes I should have put a 7.12 on the car but I didn't. Oh well, thats drag racing.

All in all it was a fun weekend. The Hot Rod is right on and the driver didn't do to bad either.

Next weekend is the 1st points race at Lone Star. I will not be able to make it because of the State Wrestling Tournament in Austin Friday and Saturday. I will however go back to TAD on Sunday and try again. Until next weekends report.

wow, some good results Coach! Bummer about 2nd round, but even if you had a 7.12 up there still woulda lost, guy had a 15-thousandths package i'm heading out for my first weekend of bracket racing this Friday, running an 1/8-mile track in Clearwater and hitting Super Chevy on Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully all those runs I've been making will help!

Sounds like you had a good weekend - and you have one helluva wife for letting you go drag racing on not just Saturday, but Sunday also!

I'd have to hand over my left ____ to do that.

And that guy in the second round... Man, that's a killer run he put out. As long as you're having fun, that's what matters.

Cheers,

Andrew

Right now I'm tied for 12th in points with like 100 other guys..

Good luck in your bracket season!

Cool

DMcRacer,
Thanks man. We will give them hell in Austin.

Derek,
your right about his 15 package but I think I could have pushed him out at the top end if I would have put a 7.12 on the car.
Good luck at Clearwater and Super Chevy on Saturday and Sunday.

Andrew,
Yes, I do have a helluva wife. She ROCKS!!!! The only thing that she was upset with was she had a track meet on Sat. and a volleyball tournament on Sun. and couldn't go to the track with me. I had a great time. I love racing at TAD. How about you and me Sunday at TAD?

Lee,
Thanks brother. I have been working on my practice tree alot.
Good lights are key to winning rounds. Are you racing this weekend?
