Is it too loud?
Is it too loud? So ive just bought a ta 427, has headers to dual 3" w x-pipe and straight through duall mufflers. they dump right before the axle and its loud as crap. Im all about the amazing rumble but Va cops love to give out exhaust tickets.... So the pipes are fine but what mufflers will keep that amazing sound but cut the noise level in half? ive heard of flowmaster "hushpowers" but never seen anyone with them...
i would call it 100percent overbearing... ive been in many bbc bracket cars that dont hold a drop to this monster... we were sitting in the driveway with the engine idling and the radio was half volume and you could barley hear it... and thats component speakers and a 500 watt amp... what about the borla xr-1's?
