Default question for the six speed guys

Im in the process of getting a mwc 9" and im trying to figure out what I need to do front suspension wise. I would like to just keep the front suspension stock but how much will that hurt me over strange single adjustables on stock coils. What are guys running front suspension wise?

Car makes 420/390

Iv got QA1 "R" single adj on mine. Very simple to install, easy to adjust, they are not AFCOs but they also didnt cost near as much. Best bang for the buck IMO..a lot of guys use um.

Did it make any difference in what times you were cutting. I just don't know what th benifits are of front suspension

I went from 1.9s to 1.5s...Getting the front up and keeping it up helped my car A LOT..

I run QA1 "R" coilovers as well and the difference is very noticeable. I run them with a 275lb spring, which I wouldn't recommend for the average street/strip car unless you have ALOT of weight removed up front. I don't have before/after numbers with the same combo. I run mid 1.40s with 100% stock suspension up front aside from the coilovers, stock rear sway bar as well with no airbag. Yes I have a TH400, but the car started a 6 speed

I still have a stock front suspension other than QA1 R's with spring cups to use the stock springs.

Car has gone 1.32 60' on spray

kinda same here. I didnt really do much on the front last few years. stock brakes, control arms, springs. Just no front sway, and the strange single R shocks, or whatever the race ones are (with a bearing kit on stock cut spring cups). Click them up for the street there fine. been 1.55 in DR 1.43 on etdrags 420whp.

That's what I was thinking about running stock springs with strange shocks in the front and on the back strange shocks with v6 springs
