need some info
need some info so i have a 98 ta race weight 3955 have no clue why so hight scale could have been wrong but i dont know. mods are lts,mti lid,k&n filter,and fuddle 3600 stall untuned. so with that said i went to the track last friday and was very dissapointed the best i could get the car to run is

i know the 60 is bad but its on bold street tires. im hoping to use a friends drag radials soon to see how much it will help plus a tune. my question is should i be running faster how it sits? and the da was in the 3000's from what i was told. any pointers will be a big help i feel it should be a mid to low 12 sec car but idk.

Our T/A is known to be heavy,, for the mods you have done, you have done no weight reduction, and there is alot of write ups on how to do this and what the stuff weighs. You definately need to have the car tuned if it has not been done since the mods you have, especially the converter. You are not going to get good times on street tires, Period. Your buddies drag radials will help, but you also need to know you do run the risk of destroying your rear end,, they are also known to self-destruct when radials are put on and a good launch is involved. I agree the car should be quicker than that, You will pick up some with the radials, but to optimize what you got a good tune will definately help.
