Hi guys thought I would try post in this section to get a better response, Can anyone tell me the lenth of a BBC "BLOCK ONLY" To perhaps determine an engine plate position?

Also is a LSX the same length as a LS1?

I'm planning engine plate positions and want room for movement, thanks guys.

 

Most BBC is 2 " longer than the LS1. I would need to know what bore space to be exact. I have the plates in stock for both.

All LS blocks are the same length
