Default 1/8th mile times

I finally got some 1/8th mile times. They are not the best but I suppose everyone has to start somewhere. My best time of the day was 8.54@85.5 mph. 2.06 60 ft. I need E/T streets!

Get some tires under that thing and a convertor and things will get really interesting. My stock times were 8.5@84 w/ 2.0 60ft on F1's. Nice job.

Good times. Get some tires and you should be in the 8.1x or 8.2x times.

I just installed my TCS 4200 and a B&M Supercooler. Things should really start to get interesting now! I can't wait to get back to the track, and try this setup out!

Are you running on the top of Mt. Everest? You should definately be in the 8.7 to 8.8's. You could do that if you could launch better. Get some sticky tires and I bet you will be down in the 8's with no problem.

I am not trying to rub it in but, I ran a 7.96 @ 90 mph on stock F-1's. I have an advantage though. I have a A4. If you practice your lauching you can definately get down some. Go on a back road and do it over and over until you get the hang of it. It will be different at the track but you should get an idea of what to do. Just my .02.

congrats on the first slips! my car (when stock ) did 8.50s with a bunch of 2.0 60's so it sounds like you're just about right.time for tires!

remember, drag racing is ALL in the 60 foot.

Yeah...those M6's are tricky outta the hole. A4's are definately an advantage in that department, however, there's nothing better than someone who likes to grab those gears. Keep practicing...you'll get it.

Default Update: new times

Took the car to the track for first time since the converter install and custom tune. My best run was 8.20@84.7 mph, 1.9 60ft. I only got my street tires to hook good on two runs, the rest of them sucked. I definitely need tires now.

Isn't drag racing fun? There's no known cure for it at this time....

Those times are good. As they say, practice makes perfect.....
