Default Mixing e85 and 112 race gas question

I feel like I am getting bad batches of gas for some reason. I am planning on running the car on saturday at the track. I was wonder of I can mix in some 112 with my e85? I was thinking like a 5-1 ratio. What would issues could arise? I just want to make sure the octane is high enough and stable.

Let the bashing begin, lets hear our thoughts or opinions!

Why dont you quit "feeling" like you have a bad batch and buy a $20 tester? Pretty simple.

Blindly mixing fuels like this is ingorant.

I would be VERY careful. Stoich values of the fuel is very different and will changes the burn rate of the fuel. I wouldn't, and as mentioned above I would buy a tester to check every batch of fuel before poured in.

Just run straight 87 octane and you'll be just fine
