critique my launch/suspension setup
critique my launch/suspension setup hey guys finally starting to make a few shakedown runs on my combo. chasing an issue w/ the motor not revving past 6k, seem like its valve float from harland sharp rockers, will know for sure this weekend when i run w/ the stockers back on it.
i figured it couldnt hurt to get some others input on my suspension setup and 60'. unfortunately this is the only video i have at the moment that isnt an "in car" vid.
- car has full front and rear suspension drag brakes, tunnel mounted tq arm, umi drag bar
-325 mt radials 15psi
-shitty comp eng. rear shocks
-qa1's up front set full loose
-travel limiters but set full loose
car has a big converter in it, but have been testing out using the t-brake and also foot braking the car.
so far to date the best 60' has been 1.41 or 1.42 - it is running the 1/8th mile really well, just not out the back door. best 1/8th to day is 6.80 @ 101 - still playing around w/ timing and launch rpm etc..
im looking to upgrade to afco double adj. rears over the winter, is there anything else you guys see that may need attention. Thanks in advance. Enjoy.

The 60' sure doesn't look like a 1.41-1.42. The video says a 1.6 60' from what I see. Either way look like you rolled into the launch to me.
Do you have any more videos that show a better launch? I can't tell much about what your car is doing from that one.
