Strange Silver shocks
I have QA1 shocks now, but I can't use them for 90/10s. I'll set them soft up front to drag and launch. The car hooks great, but last week there was a dip in the road and the car fell flat and I broke my cats. These shocks suck for dragging because they have no adjustable rebound. I found out the hard way I guess.
I've been doing some research and found the Strange silver series double adj. shocks. Do you guys think this will be a good swap? Have you heard or tried these shocks before? What should I run in the rear shocks/springs? Thanks.

I just put that shock on mine, in the rear. It feels nice. I dont have any track times yet, waiting for the weather to break.
I hear you on the fronts, you have to keep them stiff for the street. I'm switching to the double adj as soon as I do some testing with the current setup, so I can acurately compare the new ones to the stock one I had in the rear.
Give Billingsley a call, he can answer your questions on the shocks.

I have the QA1 90/10's on my car and it rides fine on the street on the #8 setting (stiff) then I just drop it down to 2 or 1 for the track.
What do you have the ride height set at? I'm gonna raise mine up another 1/2 inch just to be safe, but no problems on the street so far.

Not fast enough to come crashing down. I have ran them on 1 at the track with no crashing down problems 1.59 60'..... you just need to run them on like 7 or 8 on the street and 1 or 2 at the track you'll be fine.
I'm puttin a new converter in this week, lookin for some 1.4x 60' times! with at least a foot of air so I'll let ya know how they come back down.
