Suspension mods are a must!! Ok...so what is the LS1 supposed to run stock? I believe it's 13.55 maybe 13.60? I ran my 2000 A4 SS on a local 1/4 mile track and with only the following 5 mods managed to pull a surprising best of 13.16 1/4 and 8.52 1/8 on stock Goodyears:
1.) Free mods
2.) Whisper Lid
3.) BMR LCA's
4.) BMR SFC's
5.) BMR adjustable panhard rod
For anyone out there looking to drop some serious time...go with these 3 suspension upgrades listed above...you'll be glad you did

I ran my 00SS A4 on the factory F1 tires ,totally stock and pulled a best of 13.24@104.85 w/ 1.99 60ft. That seems sooo long ago now. Looking for 11's N/A stock internals now.

My 60' time was 2.060, which I would like to get down to at least 1.9. I've not heard of many stock LS1's running low 13's. There was about 10 LS1's at the track and myself and another A4 SS were the only 2 running 13.1's....others were running 13.3's and so on. All depends on what you mean by low 13's I guess. 
Longtubes and ORY will be on next sunday, along with some Nittos. Should be interesting; hope to break at least 12.8 1/4.
