Nice results. I'd throw a 9" ET Drag on there. I guarantee you will get better results. It's more than enough tire for stock NA, and lighter than what you have now. Go to MT website to get the weights on these tires.

What is your trap RPM's?

Hawkn01...Great runs! Congrats on finally breaking the record. I may just have to stick my stock spare motor in it this fall!!!!

foff667...On the radial slicks, good thing is that they do not require tubes, can be run at much higher pressures, weigh similiar to a bias slick (9" same as 10.5" bias)...however, only come in 29.5" and 29.9" OD (Hoosier, Goodyear, Mickey Thompson, and Phoenix, and only Hoosier does both OD's, the others 29.9" only)!!!

I've got one in the barn (Hoosier 29.5") that I am fitting, or at least looking at. It will require major additional surgery on the rear fascia in comparison with what has been done for 28.5" M/T's even considering their growth.

Anyways, good luck to all and take care.

wow those are unreal times, but looking at the DA and I understand! We can get -500 to -1000 DA in January-February here in Gainesville. Combine that with running in the daytime so the track has plenty of heat and you'll get some bitchin times!
Congrats again, WTG

Thanks everyone ! Yes, I think the Hoosier 26x10 slicks hurt me for sure, but I guess I had to find out the hard way ! Need to get me some 8" rims instead of the 10" and try a smaller tire.

Congrats! Thats moving out!!!!!!!! Now I have to go even quicker! My car is currently on a 150+ lb weight reduction plan and is getting a trans freshening and about 3-400 more stall. Gonna install the rear sway bar and switch from a 28x10 to a 27x9. This internal stock thing is gonna get interesting. Mine wont be ready untill 4/2 so I might lose out on a negative DA day but gonna give it a try. I have a killer set of ls6 heads and a custom grind laying around but I want to go 11.teens first. Good job man!!

Hawk,no doubt those 10"rims and Hoosiers are a lot more weight than a set of 8" Welds and 9" ETDrags.

10 inch bogarts are lighter than the 3.5 front welds.....they weigh almost nothing.

maybe put the 9 inch et's on the bogarts and see.

JFM and Evil, the Hoosiers were on the Bogart P2 series 15x10 Alumalites which are very light. The Hoosier slicks weighed 2lbs less that the ET Street 26x11.50's and I've cut a 1.49 on the ET's with them on a heavier Bogart P1 series rim. Maybe my low range clutches are starting to give up in my tranny, they have been in there since last May.
