Seat install help. I'm going to install a set of Jazz plastic racing seats in my car within the next couple of days. I cant find a set of seat brackets to bolt them to the existing studs in the car so I think im gonna have to drill holes in the car and bolt them down that way. I want my car to pass tech so I want to do this the CORRECT way. Give me some pointers/advice on exactly what I should do to make this work and pass tech please. Thanks in advance.

I think they will set too low bolted straight to the floor. I took apart my stock seat tracks and used those to mount my Kirkeys.
It should work for the jaz seats also. Do you have a bar in the car yet. The seats should be supported to it.

I think the requirement is four bolts secured to the floor of the car. Also, I believe in order to pass tech it needs to be supported in the back. In other words it can't move when you strap yourself down in the car.

The car will be getting a cage as soon as I can get it down to the place. I will have them fab all that up for me while it's there. I was really wanting something adjustable in case someone else wants to drive.
You can do it. I've seen it done with door bar pins. The brackets have holes for the pins you can move the seat back and forth. My seat back bar is like that. Its an IOP part. Have the shop fab up the seat mounts.
