Default Boosted 347 LS's

I don't know if I'm putting this in the right section but here it goes . How fast are these forged 347's with 88's and bigger turbos running ? 1/4 and the 1/8 mile . Reason of me asking , I just finished my project . Forged 347 with PRC 6.0L heads , vic jr , gt47-88 , AMS 1000 , th400 , 9inch , 275 radial . I'm now thinking I should built something a little bigger . My goals are 9.0's or even a high 8's .. Am I ok or was think a mistake with the cubes I have selected.

Thanks
G

I dont think your goals are unrealisitic. I think you can make the power to run the number, but Im not really sure about the reliability at that level. I had a friend run 9.0's in the upper 140MPH range with a 370 and PT88. That was an iron block, though. Another buddy of mine has been 150MPH with a 347 and 88MM, but has had some staging issues and has never been able to get the car to leave well.

High 8's shouldn't be an issue with an 88. There are guys in the high 8's with a 76.
