Default is it hard to srpay paint a roll cage that is installed?

ok i have color match to paint my cage, i want it the same color as my car.
is it hard to paint it while its installed in the car? it is in a SPRAY can

I painted mine with it in the car, just takes time and patience.

did you tape off everything? what about the door panels?

Is there another way to do it?

Just make sure anything you don't want paint or overspray on is covered with newspaper, cardboard, plastic drop clothes, etc.

Yea covered and taped off everything, the overspray will get on everything if you don't.

I've tried the Por15 and it just doesn't lay out as nice as I want. I'll be priming and spraying mine also. What paint are y'all using to rattle can it?

VHT chassis paint works pretty good.
