Torque Arm mount??

Torque Arm mount??
I am running low 10's in the 1/4 with mid to high 1.4 60' times and still have my torque arm mounted to the trans tail shaft and my question is should I go ahead and get a T/A relocation mount? My next question is will it help my suspension or just keep things from braking? I have a broke trans now and am getting it fixed so I don’t want the added cost but if it will help I may go ahead and get one.

It is always going to be good thing when you get the torque arm off the torque arm off the tailshaft housing of the transmission. Not only will it keep you from breaking tailshaft housing but it will also allow to adjust the instant center of the car to help out launching the car. Give me a call and I will take care of you on it Greg.

I did it back when I was running 12's, If your a t56 I think it helped to tin for shifting. The whole shifter doesn't move up anymore form the TA pushing it up.
I have the BMR t56 reclo mount, and really happy with it. I clears my custom 4inch Ypipe easy, and there BMR DS loop clears everything. Ands it s easier to work on the car, little things like now the TA in not tight to the trans so getting the driveshaft yoke in is easier, you have room for your hand around it. And taking the trans out is easier, you can lower the Xmember a little and tilt it back so the TA slides out the front bushing. You don't have to mess with the front bushing at all.

The stock T/A more than likely helped in breaking all of your drive train as hard as your car is launching based on your video. As others have said get the T/A off the transmission to help in making the car perform better. When you have it in your hands make sure and bend it so you can see how weak it is.
Good luck and be safe.
