Again I have to ask...why did the guy come and post this on LS1tech.com? Seems like everyday there are more and more guys on here that dont even have an ls1, and never have had one...which is not a big deal if you have previously owned one like unit213 or cudeah...otherwise this post was about as useful as a ford intake sitting at a chevrolet repair shop...

Say, how fast does that dyno of yours run?
Oops. I bit. Sorry.

I find yours extremely typical - yet atypical at the same time, seeing as you do your best to kiss *** and act superior at the same time. Interesting, I think.
Sure. Is this really you?

LOL. I'm sure you do. Care to take some advice? Doesn't matter - I'm going to post it anyways (might not last long, but I'll post it). Next time, don't ask for something (ie...smug comment comment) - you might get it.
BTW....what was that you posted earlier about name-calling? Or about being easily-offended? True colors, eh?
Know what I mean, Vern?
But hey...no hard feelings. One good pic deserves another...

for the post starter.
if this was your first time out dont be to dissapointed.more practice ought to net you 13.90's bone stock.
if you bought the gt thinking that stock you would beat the ls1's then you should be dissaponted.the car wasnt meant to compete stock to stock with the ls1.you should have bought a mach 1 or cobra.
personally i like the gt.nice little daily driver with a little bit of power.a few bolt ons anf they seem to run decent enough.

I had an 01 GT before my 99FRC so I think I have some info for you. First whats your budget? around 2K good. Start with these 4 basics. Shifter, the original shifter has a throw of about two feet it seems. Underdirve pulley for the accessories. Filter, low restriction of your choice. 4:10 gears in the rear. I had this combo in my GT and I was able to suprise a few LS1 powered cars. You will likely need DR's also. Unluckely (for you) pound for pound a N/A 4.6 is not any match for a N/A LS1. I do have to agree that I did like the GT, it was a great everyday car for me. Good luck with the mods, and heck guys at least its an American car he is driving...

Guys, Bob doesn't have to prove anything here. I will say if you meet him at the track, you'd better be on your game, or you'll be seeing Cobra taillights

[/me pokes head out from under the carport...]
Mach 1 DOHC blocks are aluminum. This was misreported during pre-release media coverage (even Ford said in one publication that the blocks were iron).
