The Grump dead at 81
I remember seeing his "Rent a Racer" 71 Camaro as a teenager beat up on Sox & Martin's plymouths & Dyno Don's Ford. Anybody got actual photo pics of his cars during the 70s?I had pics of his 75 Monza Pro Stock at English Town Raceway in NJ during the summer nationals that year but lost them.

If you ever looked under the hood of one of his cars, and are still alive he really was a hot head, you would have seen some real innovation. He had a fan clutch on the crank with a pulley on it that ran the alternator and water pump. No wasted HP there
He about had a heart attack because I went over the yellow tape to look at his engine. The intake was off and he has all kinds of numbers written on the block with a paint pen. Was trying to decipher them when he caught me. The intake ports on that engine were something to see. Here is something to remind us of him:

Also, put his name in youtube and enjoy.
