Is it possible? Ive been having some pretty low mphs for my setup and feeling the car fall on its face towards the end of the track. Just about everyone here said it was knock retard. I never got around to finding anyone that would atap it so I just let it go. Well anyhow, I was browsing through the external section and I ran into the rumor of the old style ASP pulleys causing knock retard. I never really asked, but I was thinking to myself, how would a crank pulley cause knock retard??? Anyhow, I said what the hell, why dont I just sell the old pulley and buy the new style thats SFI approved...so I did. Well I took it out last night and made my first run...it felt strong throughout the entire run. It was still crossing around 5800 rpm, but I didnt feel it lagging towards the end. Got the slip, and my mph was 116.5, 2 mphs higher than my best. Well, that was my only full pass because I had no cage, so it was 1/8th mile for me for the rest of the night. Too bad the other person wasnt in the booth, because I wanted to go home so bad with an 11.40 slip. Anyhow, my question is, could the crank pulley have been the cure? Thanks.

Honestly, I dont know what the DA was that night nor how to obtain it. I wish I would of scanned it, but if that was the only thing that I did, then I assume that was the problem. I know that the lagging at the end of the track just wouldnt go away out of no where, know what I mean. I know it was kinda dumb to sell my old pulley and buy the new one, but even if it didnt help which I dont know 100% sure that it did, I still wanted to have the new style. Since I never asked, how can the crank pulley cause knock retard? Thanks.
