Default Travel limiters

Looking to make some limiters for my car, I run AJE tubular control arms. My question is if I can use the sway bar tab thats on them to mount the chain to the Arm instead of welding a new tab?

I would think so, that limiter is only gona be holding up the weight of your wheel, spindle, brake, lower and upper arm on that one side. The sway bar should see a lot more weight (force),I'm not sure on this just just thinking outloud. If you see 1G turning wouldn't that be the full cars wight going sideways? Anyway I think the sway bar could see 2-3K pounds, but thats no all on the endlink tab.

But I have my limiters bolted to my lower arms with I think is a 1/4-20 grade8 bolt, I dont think its even 3/8th (the chain bolt). So unless you have a single little 3/16 tab on them sideways. Should be fine, check out the limiter hardware, should be smaller then the sawybar tab i bet

I would think it would work, But I havent found very much information on the install of the limiters. Is this something that helps the car work better, or just so it doesnt stand up as much?

Both. Makes the car lift the weight of the wheels, spindle etc earlier in the launch so the front doesn't build up too much momentum and lift too high.
In a sense in kinda makes the wheels and assembly yank down on the front end for a second before it's weight is settled and supported.
This way you can set your shocks to get the cars weight to transfer efficiently but reel it in b4 it gets outta control.
You can see in my sig pic how the wheels are supported by the limiters, better the track the less travel u give it.
