lol damn that's a huge engine! Anyways I heard about people having to replace the roof panel due to the GLUE that was used underneath it. the glue was giving off gasses due to the sun heating it up. the paint above the glue would begin bubbling off leaving of course damaged paint. great **** btw wish you had more updates!!

I wish we did to but I am 3 hours away for school and my dad works on the road so not much gets done. We aren't exactly in a hurry to get the car done.

There is still alot to be bought motor/drivetrain wise so it will be a while before it gets done even if it were to be at the shop tomorrow.

Plus lets be honest having 2 cars is not going to be cheap, but having them both on e85 will help a lot compared to 116 or whatever astronomically priced alternative would be used.

also i know

but there is nothing new to show lol

EDIT: I was wrong... maybe i should have taken a closer look.

So here is a few teaser shots of the front suspension.

we have a set of low friction ball joints for the lower A-Arms. Unfortunately there is no matching set for the uppers that we can find.

Minor update
rear end almost done. complete chromoly from Burkhart Chassis
teaser pic below. It still needs powder-coated, but I'm not sure if colors have been chosen as of yet.
Everything has been ordered to make the car a roller -wheels and tires. For now the donuts on it will be enough to move it around.

Afco DA's came in
Axles are on the way, brakes will be about a week after them.
Apparently Aerospace is a bit behind schedule.

Block we still need to get. We also have the wrong set of pistons. We have a 4.5" set when we actually need a 4.6" set. So that and a few smaller things will have to be bought before the short block will be started.

I am slowly bring him closer to the LS idea, but I'm not sure it will happen

Still waiting on the brakes.

Chuck appears to have gotten bored not having a car to drive, so he had us bring the Chevelle over. They plan on running in the 5.70 index class in the 1/8th at coles county dragway. When we were loading it up we realized we could only find 2 of the 5 nitrous bottles. We looked and looked and they were nowhere to be found. Naturally the missing ones were the only ones we had that were full.
Go drop the car off and come back to find we had placed them in a place that you could only see from one angle because of how much crap is in the garage.

We are still waiting on brakes.... I know sounds like a broken record right?

The chevelle got taken out for the first time in a while yesterday and it ran just like it always did. A consistent 6.50 off the bottle. There were ~14 cars in the 6.50 class. All of them could run the number. Chuck made it to the second round before being eliminated.

How much does a rear end setup like that run? I'm sure it helps being friends with the owner haha but for us regular guys if you could get a price that would be awesome
