What size tires? I think its pushing it a little, I had 4.10 with a A4 with 26" slicks years back and the 1/8 was all it wanted but 28" its not that bad but 4.56 on spray? WOW.

side note.. did you ever sell that glide?

I'm thinking it will be a bit much too. I have access to some 28" slicks but not sure if they will fit. I just found a rear end cheap with 4.56 is the reason I was thinking bout it. My original plan was to run 26" slicks or 275/60/15 drag radials.

I ran 4.88 gears in the Iroc with a 355, glide and 26" slicks. Worked perfect on motor but I was spinning it 7300-7500 too. On 150 shot the shift lite was coming back on about 75-100 feet before the stripe.

The guy did come and pick up the glide. Sorry.

I would think that a 4.56 gear would be a little to much with a 26 inch tire.

In our other 2 cars that we have a 4l60 & 26 inch slicks we run 4.10 gears.

Now in my Hot Rod we run a 4.56 gear with 29.5x10.5x15 slicks and she runs pretty good.

Good luck.
