Who all is running a 'glide??
Who all is running a 'glide?? I plan to run my car with the A4 and 2.73 gear for the rest of this year. (1/8th mile only) Over the winter I'm putting in an 8.5 ten bolt with 4.56 gear. When I change the rear I will need a driveshaft. I don't want to have two driveshafts made so at the same time I'm gonna put my glide in the car. Any of you guys running a glide? What rear gear and what is your setup? As far as math goes, I don't think I'm gonna be gaining much mechanical advantage going from the 3.06 first gear in the A4 with the 2.73 rear gear, to the 1.80 first gear in the glide with the 4.56 rear gear. Is the efficiency of the glide gonna make it worth it for me?
I run a glide and 3.70 gear. I'm a nitrous car, and I dont even use a progessive or digiset anymore because it calmed the car way down and lays the power nice and smooth.

What kind of times are you guys running in the 1/8th? I should be between 380-400 rwhp and plan on a 100-150 shot of nitrous on top of that, but my main concern is what it runs on motor. Will likely have a 275/60 drag radial when I put the glide in.
