Should I go 12s?
Hey guys, last year my car went a best of 13.15 @ 107.9 with a horrible 60ft of 2.2. I had problems with the stock cluch and some tire spin!! Well this year I just got A spec stage 3 clutch with Billit steel flywheel, and updated hyd. I want the car to run 12s before I put my headers, and other susp. mods in, Can I accomplish this? I know it has to do with my 60ft times. What is a good 60 ft with a few bolt ons and nittos?

I would think with practice you should be able to get into the 1.77-1.85 range then you should be in the 12's easy ....I have a A4 and can cut a 1.67 60ft right now and have been a best of 1.56 on 17" nitto's you may want to take it easy with that stock 10 bolt on a 6 speed they tend to break faster then with a automatic... and good luck

Im an auto so all I can tell you is that with just boltons (no cam) and 273 gears with a 2800 stall I ran 12.40s at 110mph with a 1.78 to 1.85 shorttime.
You are gonna need some stickey tires to get the 60 ft time lower, You could also try some good LCA's and relocation brackets , they are known to help.
the M6 is going to take practice to learn where you can launch the car for the best ET, Practice Practice Practice.
