Default 60' help

Hey guys, been looking around and just cant find anything that's helped me with my problem, so I guess I'll take a shot at asking. Apologies if it's the wrong section.

Mods are as follows:
Stock 3.23s
Mac mids & ory
Lid
Cutout
Founders adjustable solid PHB
Founders SFCs
UMI solid end adjustable LCAs
Comp rear drag shocks set at 50/50
Circle D 5c 4000/4200
Mickey Thompson ET Street DRs 26x10.50-16 on stock wheels
!front sway bar
about 100lbs of weight reduction
Street tune

My problem is that I can't get the car to 60' for ****, be it at the track, on the street, anywhere. With suspension only on the Mickeys, the car went 13.2 @ 106mph with a 2.05 60' leaving at 1500rpm. After the converter and headers I tried everything, leaving off idle, 1k, 2500, 3500, and only managed to muster a 12.8 @ 108 (lifting 2/3 to get it to shift, the trans gets temperamental when warmed up) with a best 60 of 1.95. Tires were at 15psi, and I gave them a decent burnout.

Could the rear drag shocks without matching fronts be hurting my times? The car doesn't feel like it's transferring weight as it should, but it could just be me. I have a set of relocation brackets that haven't gone in yet, any idea if I'd see much if any improvement? Would moving to a different tire be a better option?

I've gone from rolls with ~110mph trapping cars and been dead even, if not actually pulling, but the 60's just aren't there.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

A set of Strange or Afco shocks, LCA relocator brackets, and then a MWC torque arm package will put youight where you need to be. There's no reason your car shouldn't at least get into the 1.7 60s. These parts will also take you much farther along as you progress in performance.

Give us a call... We have all these parts are all on sale right now too!

Was looking at the Strange SA fronts, are they a bolt in setup, or do they require a new spring/spring cup for stocks?

Search NJ02Z posts, he has a similar set-up ( bolt-on car w/conv. and gears) and has a 1.59 60' 11.98 et. He's running MT DRs 275/50-15 on weld RTS wheels.

Complete bolt-in package. It will consist of shocks w/ adjustable ride height, springs, spring seat bearings, and a spanner wrench to adjust spring seat height.

My car with similar engine/trans mods, but NONE of your suspension mods was 60' 1.70's this season. What was the car doing on launch? Spinning hard, wheelhopping? Best launches I had were at about 1800 and just rolling hard into the throttle. What's the STR on your converter?

Thanks for the responses guys, appreciate the help.

At the track it felt like it was bogging, possibly could've been due tire pressure but I wonder if its weight transfer issues. Famoso is decently prepped, so maybe I might have been able to hook with 17-18psi, but the thing just wouldn't roll out. Wish I had more info, but I was only able to get 3 passes in at the last test and tune.

On our road (well prepped, 100s of passes from high horsepower cars, and countless amounts of VHT laid down) the car can't hook for anything, it actually hooked better up on the dusty section farther up which was really odd. As soon as the converter flashes it gets completely sideways.

I'm with you, maybe the rear isn't setup right for the stock fronts. I was running 12.9's @ 109 all night about 15 passes with mods in my sig. Maybe with the mods ssvert99 posted will get you where you want to be. The track closed before my tc and tune so idk what id be at now. But im also only running nt05's not a radial. Hope you can figure it out
