Default 26" vs 28" for traction M6.

Right now I'm running a 4.10 with a M6 with a 6800 limiter. Taking into consideration picking up speed going to a better track and what not my best gearing is with a 26" tire. My best 60ft is a 1.71 with the sway bar on and the LCAs in the 2nd hole from the bottom. Since then I've lost the sway and dropped a hole so I'm not sure where I'll be on 60s now but with my set up will a 28" tire give me more traction than a 26" tire? I'd like to at least cut a high 1.5. The reason I'm asking is I'm about to buy some drag wheels and tires and I want to make sure I do it right the first time. I'm not against swapping gearing to run the 28" if they're better but I don't want to raise my limiter since I'm still on a untouched bottom end. I"m also still running stock cut springs and bilsteins, which I plan to swap for some strange das.

My camaro goes low 1.5's on a 26 et drag stiff and it is 3900lbs with 430rwhp. So i would think 26's should get you there.

Your cut springs is probably what is throwing you off the worst. I would think a 26" tall tire would be sufficient for what you are looking for. I know a few people running high 1.4/low 1.5 60s with 26" tall tires on T-56 cars.
