We have made some changes these last couple of weeks. I think we have all the bugs worked out now and I will be shooting for 10's this Saturday at Houston Raceway Park.

I hope to be right behind you in about a month. I ran a (1.53)7.08@95.6 on Sunday. I'm going to try some 4.10's with ET drags and a little more weight reduction.

I hope mother nature is good to you on Saturday. Good luck

Thanks. The weather looks real good for Saturday!

I have not been racing for 2 weeks now because of all the rain we have been getting.

I think you are undercammd or overgeared right now Tim, so I would personally run a bigger camshaft like a Magic Stick or something like that.

Keep in mind that most LS1 S/E cars run 30 inch tires and 4.56 gears and some run 4.88's but I don't think any run 5.13's.

I have never gotten bonafide S/E cam specs but I'm guessing they are as big a reverse split as they can run without notching pistons? So I would guess 240/232/??? LSA +4.

Oh I could lose some weight but I was Mr. Oklahoma bodybuilding champ in 1997. I could drop 30 to 40 pounds that I have put on since meeting my wife a year and 1/2 ago but I like drinking beer and being retired from workingout 7 days a week.

PSJ,
We got the idea of running the 30x9x15 slicks and the 5.13 gears because of all the S/E guys we talked to. Your close to the S/E cams specs.

The cat will be let out of the bag on Saturday.

I have talked to 4 S/E guys and they all ran 4.56 or 4.88's, since they were not buzzing the LS1's as high as they would buzz LT1's. LT1's typically ran 24_/24_ grinds.

La-de-da, I was 3rd grade Hula Hoop champion at Southside Elementary in 1978. So there.

I still think your wife needs to drive.

Let me know if you come up to TAD on Sunday! Good luck on Saturday.

Cool PSJ. We talked with the Hefler and Edmond Brother that run in Division 4 and they run 5.13 gears. If it is to much gear for the new motor, Madman will surely change them.

Hey by the way, when will you be running your car at the track?

Andrew,

Alright Brother. Please just let me live in the past alittle. I will let ya know after the race on Saturday. If we do well we will be heading up to TAD at 6:30am Sunday.

I have to pull out my 4.11's and put in something smaller.

Shooting for 5/15/04 track rental at US41 held by www.mfba.org.

I would run G5X3/X2, Magic Stick or T-Rex and let 'er rip.

I hear you on the rain. This past week I broke out in round 2. It started to sprinkle during round 3. The week before that I was waved off while taking the tree for round 3. The guy pitted next to me helped me change tires in the rain. I drove home in all the thunder and lightening, but lucky for me no hail.
