Rethinking cam swap. Alright here's the deal, over the summer I added GTP ported ls6 heads with 2.02 valves, and ported fast 90/90 and 36# injectors as well as a circle d 5c converter, my car also has 4.10 gears. Now here is where my rethinking comes in, I ordered a custom cam from Futral its a 236/240 .612/.612 113+4 I'm worried its gonna be too big and my car wont run as well as it could with my current cam which is an MTI X1 230/227 .590/.570 112. I know my X1 will be more street friendly which is a plus, but how much et could I gain switching to the cam I was speced? My car isnt tuned yet for the parts I added over the summer yet so it needs to be tuned regardless but it will cost less to tune the car with its current cam vs having to do a full blown retune for the new cam.

That cam is smaller than my cam with a stock bottom end and stock 241 heads. With it, and a Edelbrock Victor JR intake, 4500 style 1,600cfm TB, and longtube headers it made 444rwhp through a 10" converter and went 11.40s at 120 with stock gears IIRC. I'd say you're going to be just fine with that custom grind cam.
Same here, I run a larger cam in a stock ls1 with stock ls6 intake and TB, don't have HP numbers but it went 7.2s at 95mph at near full weight. Th400/8" converter and 4.11 rear gear
