Looks good. I took a few year break before I got mine back together as well.
BTW how are you planning on mounting your shifter? I went from a M6 to a TH350 and made a pretty simple but sturdy bracket to weld in. Ill see If I can dig up a pic later if you would like to see it

My helper and I replaced the self tapping screws with thru bolts and washers in the shifter base to make it stronger, since I stripped a couple of the screws over-torquing them.

Looks good, Wished I had went with a Pin on hood when I bought mine years ago. You can also plug your heater hoses(pull the bungs and tap/plug holes in the water pump) and save a few pounds+it will clean it up a bit

What's amazing for me is I still have stock glass everywhere, stock brakes, stock k-member, posi-trac no spool, stock gas tank,
Those could get me in the 2750lb range.
And then, I haven't cut out any cowl, fenders, trunk, brackets, ripped out wiring, etc. etc.
That means some other car's I see on here must be like 2500 lbs and they just keep it quiet

Transmission cooler finally in "Dope Style"
Also got to put the LTCC LS-coil conversion thingy in today.
Topped up the Transmission fluid,
Grabbed the Mobile1 for the engine and realized I have no oil filter!
Have to wait to start her up ... it's been years so what's a few more weeks

I got the LTCC hooked up
Fluids filled
Fired right up first try!!!!!
Now I just have to secure wires and harness that I have flopping all over the place, and hit the track for some shakedown.
It's been about, oh, 5-6 years since this ran last. It was a great feeling firing it up today. I stink the no-cat stink.
