Tricks to soften up tires??
Tricks to soften up tires?? I bought some brand new drag radials that have been sitting around for a while. The compound is a little hard. I've heard of using some WD-40. Anyone try this or anything else? Heck, a couple monster burnouts might do the trick also. Just looking for other options also.
buy a gallon of "hot lap" fill a spray bottle , spray on tires , wrap in plastic wrap to keep the spray in place and let the tires sit for a week.

It depends on if you want to run record setting type runs or waste your time with "also ran" type runs. If it is "A" then toss the tires in the trash or sell them.
No amount of chemicals can fix hard tires. Once they have aged they are done.
